It's so easy to lose our way,

Shine - About

Time alone in the car almost always leads to ideas for new songs. This particular song came while I was driving on my way to scout camp, to take my shift with the boys from our church.

When I heard the song in my head, it was in 3 part harmony, but I only have one voice. The challenge was to sing backup vocals with myself, and try to make it sound like it was all done at the same time. We had to record several vocal tracks, on separate takes, but we like the way it turned out.

The message is simple. Let your spirit shine.
