Fallen Angels
By: Tamar Pedersen
We are all angels, who've fallen from Heaven,
Searching for someone to show us the way.
Travelers with no destination.
Can we ever go back? I wonder every day.
Is there room in heaven for fallen angels?
If there is then save a place for me. Heaven answered...
Chorus:
There's a room waiting in heaven,
Made by a carpenter from Galilee.
And it's made with wood they took from a cross,
On a cold and lonely hill named Calvary.
And there's a room waiting in heaven for you and me,
The lights are on, the doors wide open. Your room is free.
Seek me, and ye shall find me.
Knock on the door, and I'll open unto you.
Then where I am ye may be also
Many mansions are there, I made one just for you.
Yes there's room in heaven for fallen angels.
Come to me, I'll prepare a place for you.
Chorus:
There's a room waiting in heaven,
Made by a carpenter from Galilee.
And it's made with wood they took from a cross,
On a cold and lonely hill named Calvary.
And there's a room waiting in heaven for you and me,
The lights are on, the doors wide open. Your room is free.
Fallen Angels
I have made a few friends over the years who lost their way, and wandered into forbidden paths. They turned their lives around, but even long after God had forgiven them, they were unable to forgive themselves. This song was written to encourage them to believe that Christ has prepared a place for them, and that he is waiting to welcome them home.
