Welcome

Welcome to Tamar & Katrina's site for Christian Inspirational music! "When you sing once, you pray twice!"

Available for Inspirational concerts, church services or socials, devotionals, firesides, conferences, or any place faith based entertainment is desired. Through uplifting music and messages our goal is to bring people closer to Christ! We have previously prepared themes available or we can tailor messages to the needs of your event.

We can also provide all of your music needs for weddings, parties or socials. We cover music from the 1930's all the way through today. For weddings we are willing to learn your special song, if it is not already in our repertoire! Free quotes available.

Helping the childrenTheir mission is to provide orphaned and abandoned children in developing countries a healthy, caring environment while seeking a loving family for them.

One of our new songs "Now I Can Fly", is about Miguel, an orphan boy from Haiti, whose life has been significantly changed for the better as a result of the foundation's work. You can read more about Miguel, by clicking "Here".

We are planning to contribute proceeds from the sale of our CD to blessing the lives of orphan children in third world countries. We would be happy to provide a concert for any organization or church that would like to contribute to the cause of the children.

We took the month of May off to go visit our kids that are away from home. We picked up our son from college, and helped him get ready to travel to Brazil where he will be spreading the Word of Christ as a missionary. He arrived safely, and has hit the ground running. He is picking up the language quickly. We wrote a special song for his send-off celebration. We will be adding it to the website shortly.

We are also continuing to write and record new music. Keep watching for more updates about our latest songs. I will be adding some to the website soon.

If you have looked at our calendar recently, you may have noticed that we have been making frequent visits to Country Meadow Retirement Centers around the Lehigh Valley area. Here is the story.

Several months back we received our first booking at a Country Meadows facility. The activities director at the Bethlehem facility, Beverly Oyer, took a chance on us, and invited us to come share our music.

Shortly after our visit to Bethlehem, we started getting calls from Country Meadows facilities all over the map. We found out that Bev liked our program so well she sent a memo to all of the Country Meadow affiliates in our area, recommending they add us to their schedule.

We have been making frequent visits to Country Meadows facilities all over the area since then. We actually have some groupies following us between facilities that are over 90 years old! We have made a lot of great new friends. Thanks, Country Meadows!

On the 14th, we were interviewed by Nancy Mannes, at Life Radio WIBG, in New Jersey. This is a contemporary Christian station covering Southern Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. This was a prelude our concert that evening at the Safe Haven Cafe. We really enjoyed becoming friends with the guy who run's the cafe, Ruben Velez, and his wife, Ili. They were real salt of the earth.

On the 21st, we helped the Solebury United Methodist Church celebrate the conclusion of a successful week of Vacation Bible School. The kids even helped us sing a song at the concert. See our photo gallery for some shots. They had a great turnout for their picnic, but we brought the concert inside, at the last minute, to avoid the rain. As soon as we got inside, it started dumping buckets, but we were all cozy in the sanctuary. We enjoyed meeting the new pastor, Sunil Balasumdaram.

We also had a great time this month at St. John-Hill UCC Church, in Boyertown. They have an awesome bandshell in a grove of trees next to the church. The event organizers, Lee Heathman and his wife, made us feel right at home.

Here is a shot of the whole family, with our new son (in-law).
